Make this year the turning point for wellness and vitality!

You may well know what to do to reach your health goals, but you may be finding it hard to do it…

As a physician with 16 years of experience, I realize that people are highly motivated to be healthy, but often lack the skills to keep their motivation strong. "Everyday life" gets in the way of our best resolutions.

In "The Wellness Year", I introduce a yearlong program that will transform good intentions into a plan that is effective and fun. Participants will learn:

  • how to find and maintain motivation
  • how to design supportive structures
  • how to make changes with significant positive impact on health and energy level

This program is designed for individuals who understand that wellness involves a comprehensive approach, and who want maximum control in making changes that will be significant for them.

At this time of year, many of us make New Year's resolutions to lose weight and get fit, which frequently fall by the wayside, victims of our busy lives. Nevertheless, we know that good "health habits" are a foundation for that sense of maximum vitality and excitement that allows us to fall in love with life.

The "Wellness Year" begins with a free introductory teleclass, the third Tuesday of each month, at 6pm PST (call or e-mail me for sign-up information).
It then continues as a series of weekly newsletters and teleclasses, each discussing an aspect of wellness, and encouraging Wellness Year participants to make one small change that is relevant to them. Participants do not have to sign up for the whole program.
One-on-one coaching is available as well.

Participants will:
  1. Strengthen their motivation by finding their core values
  2. Develop a practice to actively energize/embody these values
  3. Learn approaches to deal with "obstacle" thinking
  4. Put in place supportive structures to successfully make changes
  5. Find fun ways to learn from past failures
  6. Commit to wellness as an ongoing journey
  7. See wellness in the life context of work, relationships and spirit as well as body
